Preparation:
* Complete the root canal therapy, shaping, and cleaning the canal with appropriate instruments.
* Verify that the canal is dry and free of debris.
Selection of Gutta Percha Points:
* Choose Gutta Percha Points of the appropriate size and taper to match the prepared canal.
Warm the Gutta Percha:
* Heat the Gutta Percha Points using a specialized heating instrument, such as a gutta-percha oven.
* Softening the Gutta Percha makes it more pliable and easier to adapt to the canal's shape.
Placement:
* Insert the softened Gutta Percha Point into the canal with a suitable carrier or plugger.
* Condense the Gutta Percha into the canal space to ensure good adaptation.
Vertical Condensation:
* Continue to add more heated Gutta Percha Points incrementally, condensing them vertically.
* Use hand pluggers or other suitable instruments to compact the material in the canal.
Lateral Condensation (Optional):
* If using lateral condensation, place additional accessory cones coated with sealer into the lateral canals.
* Use spreaders and pluggers to condense the accessory cones against the master cone.
Verification:
* Confirm the Gutta Percha fills the canal space adequately using radiographs.

Sealing:
* Seal the access cavity with a suitable restorative material.
Post-Obturation Procedures:
* Trim excess Gutta Percha above the access cavity.
